...has a sweet shot and touch for a big man.
He's going to be special.
BB sorely needs muscle/poundage both below and above his waist to take his game to the next level, especially when playing in the B1G. The weakest part of his game is that he gets booty-bumped around by the B1G's bigs all too frequently. He's getting better by the game at shot trajectory recognition and positioning himself better to make the 'bound; but when some 250-plus behemoth like Swanigan or Haas get their hips into BB down low, he looks like a rag doll. If he can gain that necessary quality b-ball weight in the off season while retaining his current touch, he's gonna be a force to be reckoned-with in future seasons.
It is called being a true frosh playing against grown men. Good thing about true frosh is they grow upSo he looks like every other Big Ten big playing against Haas and Swanigan....
Wondering how much Benson and Pardon will be on the floor at the same time next season. Does anyone think that Pardon could play some at PF?I guarantee next year with an offseason of a college weight training regimen, he will look quite a bit different than he does this year.
Can't imagine it will be much unless he develops an outside shot. I think Collins wants the type of PF who is a threat from 3.Wondering how much Benson and Pardon will be on the floor at the same time next season. Does anyone think that Pardon could play some at PF?

the Pete Rose factor.
So you want him to develop a life-destroying gambling habit and live with steroids dealers. I don't know if that's such a good idea.
The Pete Rose factorI have never heard of the Pete Rose factor.
I thought maybe it meant that if Benson takes to wearing Aqua Velva, he'll score with the ladies?

You want to see it. You need to see it.He bet on the Reds only for selective games. That is the equivalent of betting against them in other games. Saving relief pitchers for the games he was betting on, that sort of thing. What he did brought the integrity of the game into question. Steroids users changed the nature of the game, but there was never any question that they were trying to win every game. With Rose, that was brought into question. That's why gambling on games you are involved in is the worst crime you can commit against baseball..
And, TheC, what the hell? No one wants to see that.
That's no factor. The Pete Rose factor

Looks as if he is sporting some prodigious lumber.Uncle! You win. I take it back. All I mean was that I love his hustle.
