He might be the #1 reason we made the tourney as he committed early and started the ball rolling and he was arguably the best all around player on the tourney team.
Terrific piece. He spoke from the heart. He represents what a college athlete should be. A student-athlete who is prepared for a lifetime of success due to his growth and maturity as a person, not just as an athlete.
Great tribute video. Interesting to hear his initial thoughts both about Northwestern and his wants as a recruit. Just shows that we have lots to overcome in terms of perception of the program.
He's an exciting player. I think he'll sell tickets for G league and European teams....and nothing happened last year that's altered my view that he can eventually contribute to an NBA team as a defensive specialist capable of knocking down three pointers.
