yep - all the top bracket teams are Home - I just checked that out a second ago on the ihsa web page. Not much of a difference except for the VIS side has all metal bleachers and it retains the cold much worse - plus has no real inside to escape to if it gets brutally cold - the Home side has a nice inside to escape to but the hallways and concession areas are small/narrow. On the home side, metal bleachers too, but the concrete foundation helps a bit. What I do like about NIU is that they allow you to re-enter - there is typically a fan experience tent outside the stadium with free popcorn and free hot chocolate. I will be arriving about 9 hours early for the LWE game so it helps to have that !!!!Home teams
