Last 5 minutes, there was actually some juice in the Horizon. Imagine what it will be like next season in the new WRA with 7,039 purple people going nuts. Going to be a great home court advantage.

Totally. It's unfortunate that this group of seniors won't get to experience it as players, but when they show up in the stands, they can take pride in knowing that they were instrumental in getting the new WRA built.

Crazy thing is I didn’t feel we were in the majority but we were still able to flip it into a home court advantage. Great night by everyone all around. Also it was good to have some extra concessions upstairs open.

The huge UM crowd last night gave a good argument to the people who support not building a bigger arena.

Seems like having a significant number of visiting fans in the building (Illinois and UM at Rosemont, Purdue last year at WRA) actually catalyzes the NU folks. Hope that the new place is loud without needing visiting fans!!

Walking in to the AA concourse last night, it seemed like Mich fans outnumbered us by 2:1. Once the game started and the Cats started playing, the ratio appeared to reverse. (Who said the place was a mausoleum?) It sure got nice and CatLoud down the stretch.

When was the last, maybe only time NU had 1,200 students show up?
