Honest question...

Not trying to stir **** up but honestly what must Riley be thinking? No way to spin it, we have been outcoached and outexecuted all day and really several times this year. Is he really going to go to battle next year with the same guys? I just dont see Banker, Langs, especially Read, etc as top flight coaches, surely he can sense it too? If my *** was on the line and I saw my subordinates underperforming, I know I would pull the trigger. I dont see the tigers changing their stripes. Sigh just frustrated. As I type this, another special teams gaffe...

And another Iowa touchdown. As for your question, I doubt Riley gets rid of anyone. Then again, a former Big 8/12 rival of Nebraska has a coach in his fourth year with the three previous seasons under .500, but now has a winning record in season number 4. But I believe he switched up some coaches in the four years he's been there.

Nebraska isn't going to invest in top of line coaches. There is reason Riley was hired. He's an above average coach who came at good price. This not an elite job anymore. Hot coaches do not want to coach at Nebraska. 9-3 is good enough to where HCMR will not have to make any changes. Good news is we are back to Bo purgatory level under Riley. The bad news is don't expect it to get much better from here.

In before the "we play too many walk-ons... It's not Riley's fault crowd". Just for when they show up, Riley didn't recruit Jucos and Iowa's recruiting classes are usually awful. No way to spin this in Riley's favor. He hired good friends not good coaches

What is he going to do??? Perform an extensive search of lower tier division II schools for position coaches with little if any coaching experience like how he found our D line coach

Ed Orgeron. Ace recruiter and special teams coach. He should be available this weekend.

I see Tommy limping, I wonder how bad he was truly hurting.
No difference I guess, the coaches & the team were not ready to play ball today.

Today was bad, but it's not time to throw the baby out with the bath water. Banker and Langs are good coaches. Read, not so much.
Just reading the board as a whole and I guess this is precisely the time to throw the baby out with the bath water... shocker...
