Do you mean the hijab wearing Michelle? At least Melania let her hair flow freely. This was a big message to all the women of Saudi Arabia.

Actually, what Melania said is true. It is at a very slow pace, but they are moving in the right direction.

If Michelle had made those comments and Saudi Arabia had not made any changes at all, then I would have blasted at her for lying. I suspect you had no idea that Saudi Arabia was making these changes.

Well, Saudi Arabia is the center of the Islamic world. You disagree? It's their holiest of holy lands. Think of it like this, if you are going to send a message....what better place to do it? Why didn't Dr. King just conduct his marches in Chicago, or New York, or Boston???? Those cities had race problems, too.
Mecca is located in Saudi Arabia but I know many many Arabs that would never consider Saudi Arabia to be the center of the Islamic world.
