Honeymoon recs- Mexico and/or the Caribbean

we had 3 adult couples there. 3 out of 6 got the *****, I did not. I think that is just Mehico and not that resort.
My buddy got blitzed the first night there and did a header in the shower and cracked his head wide open. They tried to talk us into going to the hospital in Cancun because they could not give stitches at the resort and thought he had concussion. Asked if he had any concussions symptoms: disorientation, headache, nauseous, blurred/double vision, slurred speech. Umm.. yeah, check, check, check, check.. he's blitzed. We were all ripped and told him it looked fine (4 inch gash about 1/2" wide). He had to wear a head bandage for half the week and still has a huge scar now, but we avoided Mexican hospital.
