True, I see Jasper is tyty or cason Wallace good, but fears may on another level

Considering fears was just a four star recruit, this is shocking!
Eh, I don’t trust most of the recruiting services and it really depends how active the player is during the summer from what I have understood.

I just hope we get 10-12 minutes a game out of Jasper once the SEC starts. We need someone to give the primary players a break because the SEC is a meat grinder. I’m hopeful that he gets out of the year with some experience and confidence, as I do believe he could be solid as either a Sophomore or Junior. That is if he takes conditioning seriously.
I think he will be an easy 15-18 MPG player.

Johnson won’t be as good as Fears ended up being, but he doesn’t have to be. Fears had to carry the load for his team, Johnson should not have to. Johnson has the luxury of playing with experienced guys like Oweh, Lowe, Chandler, and Aberdeen. He won’t have to be the “man” on this team.

I think Jasper Johnson is fully capable of reaching fears' level, and if that happens, we'll be unstoppable next year. Johnson has great athleticism, solid handles, and a decent shooting touch. I believe he has the potential to contribute at a level similar to fears.
This would be obviously be fantastic for not only JJ, but for the whole team. That would certainly elevate the team's ceiling.

I think he has the talent to be just as good, he will probably not be relied on as much as you said. He may not have 30 point games where he dominates every other night but we have plenty of freshman guards over the years who have been as good as anyone in college. He certainly has the rank and pedigree to be that kind of guard. He was ranked 10th-12th a large portion of his HS career. I think the 2025 class is looked at pretty well as far as depth of talent in the class.

I hope so it would make us double tough. I need to see him play against a D1 Baker Mazzara type athlete that plays defense before I decide.

Will he be as good as Fears? Probably not, but it isn't out of the realm. He won't score as much because he won't have to be the featured player. Pope gets everyone touches.

I could see him coming in as instant energy off the bench. Can’t wait to see this team hit the court.

No way. Kid is being highly underrated. By the end of the year we’re gonna want the ball in his hands when it matters.

I’m the same guy that said Noah would be worlds better than Perry.

Same guy that said lots of stuff that turns out true. Im hated for it but its my cross.

I hear you. Kid looks too legit to sit (Dillingham level) but we’ll see how it goes once he’s up against higher level competition.

You better ice that arm down, after all the work you’ve been doing patting yourself on the back.

LOL!

Just messing with ya.
