Hornets Draft Pick???

Cook shoots a much higher percentage off the pick and roll than Paige. This is significant because the majority of plays in the NBA are pick and pop. Also, I'm too lazy to look up this stat, but I can objectively say that it is true.

As far as him being a better driver and finisher, that is indeed subjective, I reckon. But I don't think analysts would disagree with me. And someone (I think it was dukedevils) mentioned yesterday that Cook was better in the pick-n-roll. I can't refute he was "better" but I can say that Bilas last night spit a stat when he was discussing how good Paige was in P&R situations.

I'm glad you've taken my words to heart. I definitely wasn't mocking you in the way that I was making claims out of my butt. But you should take my word for it on Cook being better in the pick and roll, because anyone who disagrees with me is a Carolina-homer.

Annoying, my post makes me look like a doofus. I barely watched the NBA draft but just checked the Hornets twitter which apparently is hardly updated and only had the Malachi draft choice and nothing about the trade. Apparently we gave away a pick for some old no name guy who i've never heard of. Truly this franchise is pits. We were a playoff freaking team. how about we try to improve through the stinking draft which is what Championship teams ALWAYS do. Infuriating.

I didn't realize you played for Duke. I was obviously referring to it being bad for fans who like to obsess about UNCs academics, but I never would have guessed an actual member of the team poasts here.

For next season, Belinelli will be better than Richardson. Just came off of two of his best years shooting the ball. He's a knock down shooter which is something the Hornets lacked and wouldn't get at their position in the draft. He was best option available at that point.

Alana Beard was actually pretty hot. I never minded getting backed down by her. It is amazing how well that team could shoot. They almost never missed shots in practice, and they played rough. My forearms were scratched and bruised.
