This is false.

My son loves it with chicken.

Use to like it on scrambled eggs when I was a kid.

You can even turn the stuff into soup.

The options for ketchup are only limited by your imagination.

At La Casa: Nathan's or Hebrew National. Once or twice annually.

Quick fix out and about: Sonic footlong loaded. Wienerschnitzel, if looking for something different about once a year or so.

Normal goto: Elgin sausage roughly 3x annually Topped with everything known to the western, civilized culture.

Nice treat: Chicago dogs at O'Hare just before I returned to Iraq back in '05.

Gonna swing by here for lunch as soon as the rain is done here in Wilmington, DE. I'll report back with my findings.

My introduction to really good hotdogs was the DQ in Paintsville. I suppose it is all in what one grew up with but I've never had a better dig than there. My second would be Dairy Cheer. As far as what I want on it, sauce, onions and slaw. Was a real culture shock the first time I went to Florida. Between burgers and dogs I had to learn a whole new style of eating. In face I had to drive close to 20 miles to find a vendor who even put kraut on them.

Do you like them and if so what do you put on them, if anything?

The Sonic pretzel bacon cheesy dog looks good.

Love hot dogs. I put onions, jalapeños, chili, cheese, and mustard on them.
I actually don't use a bun, a wrap a tortilla around all of this.

I worked downtown for 4 or 5 years and would occasionally eat at Sam's Hot Dog Stand. Mustard, onions, chili and slaw for me.

I used to live in Chicago.

The Varsity needs to be experienced when in Atlanta, but I like this place:

Mike's Chicago Hot Dogs

Maybe meatloaf? You don't have meatloaf without ketchup sauce. Stay out of this one vegan boy!

And burgers!

I guess that's about it...burgers, fries, hot dogs, and meatloaf. And ranchup.
I like it on my white beans

Thought The Varsity was a tad overrated, no doubt I'd eat there again. Best chili dog I've ever had was off a cart near the RCA Dome in Indy during the '97 FF. It may have been because it was cold and we were hungry, but Jr. and I put down several that weekend. We still talk about them when chili dogs are brought up.
