I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of "hot seat" coaches. Coming into this season, perhaps Hubert Davis was looking at it as well, but I think he'll be fine and by that I mean, he'll keep the seat lukewarm. I wonder if a few others in the ACC will be or are on the hot seat like the Syracuse coach and unfortunately Capel.

Yeah just read Syracuse lost to Hofstra at home to go to 6-4. Unless they make the tournament Autry is gone. Capel, probably, thought he was this elite recruiter but it's harder when you're not recruiting for Duke. UNC is much better so Davis is safe for now. They look sweet sixteenish. Pope beat Indiana but they have St. John's and Alabama next. They need to get a split.

I think Pope is fine . They just got Lowe back and are still with out the ASU big transfer. Capel I think is done unless Pitt just don’t want to buy him out . Doesn’t he still have three years on his extension ?

Capel and Hurley both need to go. Neither are good enough to coach at this level. Bobby was twice the ball player Danny was, but we see who the better coach is.

I remember those scrimmages where Mitchell repeatedly got to the rim with ease. He looked like Ron Artest. Still not a great shooter but he's having a nice year.

NIL has leveled the playing field. Lots of kids are no longer going to a school just because it’s a traditional power or has a great coach. Virtually anybody can do what IU has done in football (not to denigrate Cignetti, because I think he is a great coach), because their money is as green as the next guy’s. Kansas is finding that out.

Possibly Shaka Smart….

Honestly his greatest accomplishment was taking VCU to the FF way back in 2011 I think it was.

He rode that to land a couple pretty good jobs.

Think Ed Cooley is definitely in the hot seat. His 3 years at Georgetown his record is as follows..

Year 1... 9-23, 2-18 in conference
Year 2...8-16, 8-12 in conference
Currently...8-10, 1-7 in conference

Yeah UCLA has been a dying program for a long time. Essentially dinosaurs of college basketball and haven’t been relevant in decades

Tang at Kansas State first to be fired.

I thought they might have something that first year he was there.

Fell apart quickly.

Two weeks to go in the season. What ACC coaches do we think are finished? I’ll go….

Forbes is out
Grant is out
Capel is out
Autry is probably out
Shrewsberry could be
Stoudemire could be

If Pitt doesn’t pay the buyout then they simply don’t care about basketball.

I’m surprised BC hasn’t gone after Dudley . He’s a rising coach in he NBA and literally is highly respected.
