Fire frank now. I don’t even waste my time watching that garbage he produces.
I admit it's fun to watch them win, but I get the uneasy feeling this is not in the best interests for the team looking long term.

Pretty much where I am.
So, where are we in the NET this morning? We've risen above terrible, but has the suckage been sufficiently reduced so that we might Dance? Who is the best team we have beaten and how good are they? Those are all questions, not statements. The answers to those questions are what is going to matter.
Lot of people want to see the basketball program be truly and consistently respectable.
As fans we all should, but a 4 game win streak with momentum should get the apathetic crowd off of the ledge to lend support.
I’d like to see the full weight of the athletic department & booster club behind mens basketball. Before we experienced success in any sport, mens basketball was there. We should revere it it work relentlessly to get it to the level it was in the late 60s/early 70s. If we hadn’t gone full stupid in ‘71, we might very well be a national basketball power year in & year out. Frustrating.
Full Stupid. You betcha. If only the AD at the time was not the coach of any one sport......
Frank Howard went partially stupid in 1962 by not trying to retain Press Maravich as head basketball coach. My guess is that Clemron's Frank wanted nothing potentially competing with football. Pathetic.

If this team can make the Dance, the support will come alive - for the team if not for Martin. The reason it isn't there now has nothing to do with the fans. The Final Four run of 2017 understandably raised fanbase expectations. The futility since then has dampened confidence.
Support will be there if the team Dances because the players will have done some pretty amazing things in a short period of time - and exceeded expectations. I hope it happens.
Not qualifying for the humongous NCAA Tournament field since the 2016-2017 season, the terrible 10 day stretch at the end of the 2018 that got Syracuse in ahead of us (the b!tch!ng over it was pathetic), and the sinking fortunes since then have inclined fans to be skeptical about Martin.
Unless Martin well and truly turns the program around indisputably, discontent will always lie near the surface. He's brought it on himself.
