Stoops previously served as defensive coordinator at the University of Arizona and Florida State ...we all can agree our defense sucks. So why does he not fire D.J. Eliot and him take over as head coach and defensive coach. Hell Petrino was basically the offensive coach and head coach at U of L his first year. At least that way he could be earning some of that big money

i would say that he has basically been our HC and DC since his arrival.

Stoops took over the defense before, and it got better. In year 4, if he's still having to take over the defense with the same defensive coordinator, that's on him.

Elliott is not doing ANYTHING that Stoops doesn't want.

Problem is Jimmies and Joes on the DL.

It is so bad that it cannot be masked.

Stoops and company have failed recruiting wise on the DL so completely that they will be fired in December 2017.

Not the first time and won't be the last for many a bottom Power 5 conference dweller.
