We earned it. We deserve to get the double bye. It was never easy, particularly since we lost 3 starters for a time, but the team stuck together and got the job done. Kudos to the coaches!

Spartans offense consists of a bunch of guys going one on one. What a difference a real point guard makes.
MSU is comfortably in the tournament with their high net now if they were in the mid 40s they’d be sweating, again this is a team that was ranked as high as #4 in the country at a point all around they are a very mid team gotta think if NU were in their position they be on the opposite side of the bubble just goes to show how brand-name works in college sports.
To me, it's nuts to rate a team based on "bad wins" in November. Our low net ranking is CSU loss, "bad wins" and teams like Det Mercy and DePaul being way worse than anyone expected.
Heck, in November, the guys hardly knew each other.

They did not look like a tournament team in either of our games. Their brand name alone will likely get them in. Let’s not delude ourselves.
As I notice the game has become close, I’ll admit that I’d enjoy IU blowing a huge lead and losing at home more than MSU shaking a little on selection Sunday.
Oh well. At least MSU might just have a few nerves next week. May they be the final ten seed on the selection show.
