Yes, that was a rhetorical question.


It is interesting how they seem to win while playing with almost no organization or structure to their offense and defense. It's almost as if they stun the other team with a helter skelter style and when the other team regains it's composure, it's too late...

Can't see that playing out well during tourney play, but you never know. Could be worth a win or two....

When Jones was booted off that team they lost any chance at a deep tourney run.
Virginia, without Anderson is not a great team. Plus they can't play the NCAA games in the Yum, but we can.

It depends on what you mean by dangerous. Chris Jones has an ankle bracelet on, so there stranger danger level moved down a seed.

Louisville is best when they aren't expected to be the best. They are a better underdog team than a favorite.

We have to remember UVa is still playing without their best player. It finally caught up to them. The thing for UL is if they manage to play themselves back into a 3 seed they would have to beat the 2 just to have a shot at UK. Assuming they are in our region. I think that's a fairly safe assumption.

I don't think UL is a 3 seed. They will be a 4 in UK's region probably and flame out in the first or second game. If they are (un)fortunate enough to make it to the Sweet 16...well it will get ugly for them as the game won't be in the Yum and their hacking won't be allowed as much on a neutral court.

With all of the second chances Petrino gives football transfers and the troubled basketball issues, it's pretty dangerous here in Louisville.

If you're talking about the basketball team, yeah they still suck.

It was a good win for Louisville, as Virginia is a good team even without Anderson, as seen by the fact that they hadn't lost a game in between their two meetings with UofL. But they also hadn't played any of the better ACC teams since Anderson went down.

You could make an argument that U of L is better without Jones since he was a black hole when he got the ball but he was an excellent defender. Harrell is probably happy he is gone because he is getting the ball more but U of L still sucks and I don't see them being around too long in the tourney. I don't think they are around for the second weekend.

When the tournament starts I would say they are VERY dangerous! Anyone overlooking them could get their butt beat. Does anyone remember UCONN from way back in 2014????

UofL doesn't have a one two punch at the guard spot like Boatright and Napier...

The tournament is all about point guards and Quentin Snider is NOT leading UofL out of the first weekend.

If UVA had Anderson yesterday, they win by 5-7 points. Louisville will unlikely make it past the Sweet 16.

They will make the Sweet 16 with a perfect draw. They also could lose in the first round.

And OP, you sure do like to talk about Louisville in at least a semi-positive way. Seems suspicious. In fact, you being surprised by being called a troll given your low post count and constant posting either a) poorly written satire/conspiracy pieces from butthurt Cards fans or b) asking if fans of the best team in the country are scared of a midpack ACC team they've beaten 7 of the last 8, pretty much outs you as a closet cardinal.
