we would dominate a lesser opponent, like we should and people would still ***** and moan. You people are pathetic.
This board has become practically unreadable. So it appears that there are a significant number of "fans" on this board that are more concerned with "how" points are scored (pass), not how many are scored. I gues the "throw it deep, Jared" crowd is alive and well. Perhaps an alternate scoring system should be put in place for these folks - 6 points for a passing TD, and 4 points for a rushing TD.

It was a feel good kind of game cuz we got to bully someone. I believe the negativeity comes from the realization of that Centre college would have done the same thing to Charlotte

If we can only score 58 on these guys, we will be lucky to put 30 up against Louisville! We only had like 400 yards rushing only 3 backs getting 100 yards or close to it. You know that line wasn't blocking...eriously, we had some breakdowns on the OL when only 3 or 4 guys rushed and Drew was flushed out of the pocket, but overall we did what we had to do and need to build on it. Baby steps

What's pathetic is assuming that a win over Charlotte, a.k.a. The Sisters of the Blind, somehow erases the heartbreaks against Florida and Vandy, and the curb stompings from UT and MSU.

How do those two things equate? People can't be happy about last night's win, because we lost games earlier in the year? I understand that nobody should be thumping their chest because of yesterday, but it's ok to be happy with a win.

I think the point here is, why can't folks just respond to the win over Charlotte with at least a golf clap and say: "That's good. They did what they were expected and should have done. Now let's see what they do against Lil Brothel."

I recommend putting posters who are a Prime Annoyance on the Ignore List.

Are you this negative in any other aspects of your life? Good grief.

You can be real and say the win doesn't mean much and still be glad we won, yes. I'm glad he finally realized Patrick is not a leader, and can't win, and benched him. I've been arguing the patty pumpers on this since week 4.

Exactly. Yesterday Georgia and Florida both struggled to beat overmatched opponents, and frankly either one or both of them could have and should have lost. If we had to have pulled a win out of our *** like we did against EKU I would be pretty unhappy, but we did what we supposed to do and took care of business. Like you said, not to go beating my chest about it, but last night the Cats exceeded my somewhat low expectations - I predicted a 33-10 win and they did me 25 points better.

Where exactly did I say that. My point was simply that there wasn't much more they could've done last night. No reason to complain about what we saw last night, but still I log on and there are tons of posts doing exactly that.

Last night's win is a positive in that it's a win. IMO, it really does not matter what has happened in previous weeks. Even though there have been disappointments, they will not make me enjoy a win any less. The only thing that matters now is the next week. If we beat ul, go to a bowl and win, I'll consider the season among the best I've seen since I began caring about the team in the 60's. I'll go inter hibernation a happy person.

S&C- You obviously do not follow football, Patrick's benching has nothing to do with leadership. He was replaced by Barker because in Stoops eyes Barker represents the future and came in with most of these receivers. Patrick will transfer in the off season and blossom at another D-1 school under a different Coach that will utilized his talents. Remember Maxwell Smith, he will lead San Diego State to a higher bowl than UK this year. I end this with one question, how many passes did this group- of receivers drop hen Barker threw them the ball yesterday. Makes you wonder?

No. But I'm rather put out by our long losing streak to Florida. Sorry it bothers you.

I didn't say anything about it bothering me, just wondered if you were such a negative, short sighted person in any other aspects of life. Have at it, it's your gig.

Are you implying PT didn't get a fair shot? Heck, he might thrive in a different offense, doesn't mean he's the right guy for this offense.

Unless Towels were to transfer to D1-2A school, he would not thrive. Max Smith's shoulder was shot and San Diego St, for one does not play in the SEC, and two, does not have the record they do bc of Smith, more like in spite of Max Smith. I'm not a fan of this coaching staff but you don't have to make crazy statements to prove that point. And yes, Towles was benched for leadership. He couldn't lead this team and the question mark is still on Barker if he can do it but Towles wasn't going to do that and the coaches finally realized it.

If he was benched for leadership I doubt he would have been a captain last night. You're way off base with that factually wrong accusation or lie. Whichever.

And I said no. And you have yet to substantiate your 'short sighted' accusation. But continue telling yourself a story about someone you've never met, that seems to be YOUR gig.
