How do we handle the upcoming automatiion of more and more jobs?

Yeah, it's not coming next week or even next year, but it's coming. What are people gonna do? I know that new technology usually simultaneously creates new jobs in addition to destroying old ones but in this case I think the latter is going to be greater than the former. How are people going to live? Universal basic income? What are they going to do all day?

Sounds like good times to me. I'm hopeful for a robot that will fix my supper and grab me a beer out of the fridge.

True, if the robot talks it will likely be logical which will make it much harder to confuse and stupify than a woman.
