Of course this one is a Martin and Lewis, but it's the same process for an Amos 'n Andy...

This is a serious question. Please stay on topic.

I've ran into issues when ordering a milkshake at Graeters or the Comfy Cow. If you say a chocolate milkshake, you have to watch out that they don't put chocolate ice cream and syrup.

Not sure why anyone would want chocolate ice cream

Never even thought of that, but it can't be bad. Double choc shake. Hell yea.

No, it is bad. Like real bad. Sounds good in theory, but chocolate ice cream for a chocolate shake is bad, bad juju.

Anyone who uses chocolate ice cream for a chocolate shake should -- and by all that is holy ought to be -- sterilized.

Well guess who's making a double chocolate shake just to spite you. Might make it a triple choc.

Quit saying that. I'm gonna make that quadruple choc shake and ala mode a huge chunk of triple choc devils food cake. Then what? I'll be so happy and you'll be jealous.

Get some vanilla ice cream one of those big buckets and mix chocolate pudding mix in it with a mixer then you put a straw in it. You might need to get a few packs of chocolate pudding mix. You can put a can of whipped cream on top and bottle of chocolate syrup if you want it to look fancy.

  • Fill your siphon bottle with ice-cold water, making sure you have a fresh CO2 cartridge installed.
  • Put a long-handled metal spoon into a tall drinking glass. Fill the glass a little less than 1/4 with ice cold whole milk.
  • Squirt your seltzer water into the glass in a thin stream with as much pressure as possible. Fill till the foam is about 1 inch below the glass rim. If done correctly, a creamy white foam cap should develop. If not, try again-- it takes practice!
  • Pour chocolate syrup in a thin stream through the center of the foam until the foam rises just above the rim of the glass.
  • Use the long-handled metal spoon to stir and quickly blend the chocolate with the milk and seltzer, stirring at the bottom of the glass, doing your best not to disturb the foam at the top of the glass. Stir till the chocolate is well blended into the drink. Remove the spoon. Enjoy!

Who the hell drinks a chocolate shake? That's some boring as basic stuff there.
Dammit Ron, you're a solid poster, and a GYEROIAN for heavens's sakes. I expect better than this from you. C'mon man, buck up -- get your head in the game.

Dude, I promise you'll be disappointed. I'm all about extry, extry chocolate, but a choco shake made with choco ice cream just doesn't taste "right," for lack of a better term.

I'm being serious here cause we Catpaw friends and I don't want you to make a mistake you'll regret.

Vanilla Ice cream
Chocolate syrup

I like a malt so I have them toss it in.
Step 1. Get in the car.
Step 2. Start the engine.
Step 3. Fasten Seat Belt.
Step 4. Drive to Bascom Robbins.
Step 5. Order chocolate milkshake.

How I do it anyhow.

In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate milk and sweetened condensed milk and a tub of Cool Whip.
Mix the ingredients using a large blender.
Once thoroughly mixed, put in freezer for 2 or more hours
Stir every half hour until desired thickness is reached...
....In the meantime drive to Wendy's and get a Frosty.

I use cocoa powder and a little sugar along with vanilla ice cream and milk, just because I usually don't have chocolate syrup. Like to add a big spoonful of peanut butter too.
