lose by 3+ touchdowns? Our defense had been playing better before last week when it took a step back. Well, they took at least another step or two back today. We have almost 600 yards with a QB who is not accurate in the least and at least two nice passes dropped by WRs. And UT, with a porous OL, is marching up and down the field at will.

Disgusted.

D finally played some legit teams the last two weeks. Not that hard to figure out.

It appears the games up to Georgia were fools gold. Stoops was given the chance these last two weeks to show the corner had been turned. It's obvious it hasn't. UL will probably score 80 or more.

Kentucky sets another dubious record to go up there with the likes of 30 game losing streaks. Not sure if this was the exact record, but it was like the only team to rush for over 400 yards and lose. It was a record of 30-0, but now we make it 30-1. I can't find the stat online to confirm it, but they mentioned it on TV.

Mark Stoops conservative, undisciplined, lifeless defense is the answer you're looking for..you should NEVER lose a game (much less get blown out) when you rush for 400+ yards..Stoops should be embarrassed of that defense of his..looked like the same unmotivated, undisciplined defense that we've seen for 95% of his tenure at UK..play with no emotion, no passion, just sit back and give a huge cushion to the wide receivers, only rush 3 or 4 guys and hope that the other team's offense will shoot themselves in the foot..absolutely zero push by the defensive line against one of the worst offensive lines in the SEC

Against offenses that aren't completely one dimensional Stoops' defenses get gashed because he's always so scared to give up a "big" play that he instead tries to force the other offense to show that they can march it down the field (which halfway decent offenses like Georgia and Tennessee are more than happy to do)..when he plays a team that he feels is "superior" he doesn't blitz and he doesn't play aggressively because he's too scared of getting gashed with the big play..what results is nickel and dime marches right down our throats time after time after time

Please tell when UK football has ever delivered? Stoops will get a bowl but nothing has changed with UK football IMO. Still getting thumped by UT and UF. Still getting beat by UGA. Still has a bad defense. Still can't solve and dual threat QB. Not sure where folks see a lot of improvement on the field.

Can't trade FGs for TDs and expect to win. Red zone execution was terrible.
1. Defense reverted back to old was and gave little resistance
2. God Bless Stephen Johnson but against good teams we are going to have to get used to trading field goals for TDs because of his inability to complete passes in a short field.

Until we get serious about our defense, and recruit to a certain scheme, whether it is a 4-3 or a 3-4, we are going to continue to lose to teams like UF, UGA, and UT.
Our offense rushes for over 400 yds. and has over 600 yds. total, scores 36 points, and still loses by 2 touchdowns......... Geeze !!

it's called lack of depth on D. We knew by mid season our D would start wearing down...

That's what you're witnessing. Lack of depth.

We lost by 13 points. That's 2 TDs. Not 3+. For the record.

Defense was a sieve, couldn't stop a peewee football team. It was like UT never had to punt. They scored at will.

UK, turnovers and field goals. Same Ole story.
