How does Syracuse justify continuing his employment? If JB had any honor, he would resign. But nothing JB ever did shows he is a man of honor and character. When UK's sanctions were announced in 1989, didn't UK clean house all the way from the President down to the AD and then the Head Coach? Is this a case of a stubborn old coach, who has been at a job for way too long, being only worried about a personal accolade like reaching 1000 wins or the impossible task of catching Coach K in all time wins? Reminds me of Bowden and Paterno, who both were stubborn and refused to let go even though they were hurting their program by hanging on for their own legacy.

Because they couldn't get anyone worth a crap to replace him. Nobody is moving to Syracuse to coach after he leaves.

If he goes it won't be his decision. He's acting like he's not accountable. Like UNC he blames the rogues.
