Over the fence is all that matters. Not far enough to win any of our most important games of the season.
Assuming Carolina can make the postseason they were not the most important games of the season. Not far enough to win any of our most important games of the season.
Playing that school upstate is the most important game of every season in every sport. You must be from New Jersey or some damn place!Assuming Carolina can make the postseason they were not the most important games of the season.

I have to agree. And there is NO ONE who hates Clemson Baseball as much as I do (being on the field for those games will do that to you). But in baseball, moreso than any other sport, we understand that there are, in fact, more important games on the schedule. Now that doesn't make the losses sting any less by any means. Just a little bit easier to get past them.Nah, Southern born and bred. South Carolina resident since age 2. Two-time graduate of USC. I've hated Clemson longer than I've been a Gamecock fan.
But the Clemson game is the second most important game of every season. The most important game is whenever Carolina is playing for a championship.
Case in point: basketball this season. I don't think there are any Clemson fans who particularly care that they lost to Carolina back in December not that they're a top ten team in line for a really good tournament seed. Despite my Clemson hatred, I most definitely would trade that Clemson win for a tournament bid.
