are muscling out reporters covering the event:

Near the end of the video, another adult, identified as assistant professor of mass media Melissa Click, tells another reporter, "You need to get out," before asking other protesters for help.
"Who wants to help me get this reporter out of here?" she asks, adding as the video ends, "I need some muscle over here."

The loony libs are off the rails out there.

Libs will cheer this stuff until it happens at their university. And with this "win" at Mizzou, it will happen again. When a mob can effectively fired two heads of a university, they have control. Libs created this mess with "safe spaces" and "free speech zones" and "trigger warnings". Treat kids like 5 year olds and they will act like 5 year olds.

Call me when a mob that has and can effectively shut down the Government has control. The definition of a Mob seems to vary with you. There aren't any "kids" in College like there aren't any "kids" in the military. Pretty condescending.

Like I said, be careful what you support. It could happen at WV next. It could happen anywhere. When kids are running the show, you can throw logic and what is right out the window.

Just curious, did you actually read their list of demands and reasoning?

My sole problem with this specific instance is that the demands were very race centric to African Americans. It was not expanded to account for other minority races. Additionally, ruining a man's professional life for what they acknowledged was symbolic to his position as he himself was not responsible for anything they took issue with. Not to mention, disrupting the campus life of 30k + other students to push a specific agenda founded in a lie centered around Michael Brown. I have an issue with this kind of behavior. I support fully punishing anyone who was promoting racism. As I understand it, in the one instance that was able to be substantiated, the individual was caught and dismissed from school.

Imagine being the football coach. You've now got a locker room divided. Where a significant number of your players were willing to walk out on their teammates.

The President should have publicly offered to meet with the 1950 group and the student going through the hunger strike and should have let the football team take the field with whatever players showed up.

Instead he'll be labeled for the rest of his life and might as well retire because he'll never get another job as a University President.

Why would "Libs" cheer "this stuff"? How did the "Libs" create "this mess"? It seems to me like black students and a weak President/Chancellor created the situation that has occurred at UM.

This is the kind of thing that conservatives claimed they supported during the civil rights movement of the 60s. You know-civil disobedience, strikes, protests. Touting MLK. Me thinks they really didn't support. Just something they say.

I'll tell you exactly how libs have created this mess. Libs running campuses have worshiped at the altar of political correctness. They promised students safe zones and trigger warnings so that their little hearts wouldn't be offended. They cancelled speakers that might offend students. They've punished professors that spoke out against the politically correct agenda. They established free speech zones clearly violating the first amendment. They have developed new words so as not to offend anyone. They are not preparing students for life experiences, they are coddling them and promising them no pain. And now when students get offended they have the power to fire administrators.

You're on a rant but I'm talking about what is happening at UM. I guess you misunderstood my post or just don't know what has happened there. Also I believe the UM leaders quit, they weren't fired.

You can protest but maybe the UM hierarchy should have told the players, you will lose your scholarship and be responsible for your education cost for the rest of the year. That will usually calm down enough of them to make a dent.

The problem with that is that the fans would have gone crazy about losing some players. The players were bluffing in the sense that they didn't want to stop playing football but they knew the school wasn't going to call their bluff anyway.

I think once the big donors (athletics and academics) get involved more heads will roll. How many top athletes or students would want to be a part of this clusterfvck?

I posted the exact events that led to the protests in another thread. You may want to notice that libs on the board claimed there were more incidents, but they haven't come up with any.
