How is it possible to bring Stoops back next season?

Just don't see how UK can conceivably bring him back if the season unfolds how it's looking

I don't think he can survive unless he shows marked improvement from here on out. Like winning 6 or more games. That's not gonna happen at this point so I think he is done.

If we do we are going to set the program back to the beginning of probation days. This years recruiting class will surely fall apart, it's a small class that will hurt. Next years class will be 25 plus recruits with a lame duck coach recruiting and that will be a nuclear disaster. We can't have 2 years of a dead coach walking recruiting.

Even if there was some kind of miracle and he won 6 games I wouldn't want him back. Way too many red flags. It's beyond obvious at this point that he isn't the guy to take this program to the next level and that's what we're trying to do the last time I checked. The next guy we hire might be just as bad but I'd rather go down swinging than keep a horrible coach out of fear the next guy could be just as bad. We literally have nothing to lose at this point. We're at rock bottom.

Plain and simple,Barnhart got conned by Stoops. No one believed the Stoops hire would turn out to be one of the worst hires since Jon Ray and Bill Curry when he was hired.Sadly Barnhart hurriedly gave Stoops a raise and extended contract with a horrid buy out when there was no need to.Now with the demise of the coal industry those heavy hitters from Eastern Kentucky aren't available to bail him out.

feelers go out to top coaching candidates and little to no interest is expressed....
