literally if we get an extra bucket against UM or Indy this team is 12-6/3-4 with a signature win and very much on the tourney bubble.

We need to go 8-5 the rest of the way to be .500 team in this big ten—which would get us a tourney bid most likely with 9 bids currently projected for the conference. Long shot but not impossible.

We go 8-5 the rest of the way, our KenPom will be in the 30's most likely, and I think we would solidly be in, absent a terrible loss in the BTT. The BIG is projecting 9-10 teams in the Dance this year at present; just an amazingly strong conference. Thus, I believe it will be hard for us to go 8-5, though the schedule is far easier from here on out. Need Law and now Turner to get healthy and not be playing hurt; pained me to see Vic out there tonight taking one for the team as essentially a decoy...

We just beat Rutgers and didn’t look great doing so. Beat a decent team then worry the rest. Right now, we are grabbing the low hanging fruit.

Agree we haven’t proven much with our 2 big ten wins—maybe a bit more in the loss to UM. But there is a flicker of hope after a big ten road win with our best player hobbled and new guys starting to get comfortable—Taylor, Kopp and Nance. I like to take advantage of this moment to day dream about what it would take. 8-5 against a “relatively” weaker schedule is not crazy albeit unlikely.

Did you see the post to which I was responding? I didn't say we WERE going 8-5. I was stating what would happen if we did go 8-5 as the poster indicated. I don't believe we are going anywhere near 8-5 down the stretch unless we improve significantly on offense.
