Regarding the 8 million dollar player, assuming its Manning, his OL and many of the other "lesser" teammates will feel begrudged. Again, it's only a matter of time.

I’m not sure what a collegiate players’ union would accomplish. It isn’t the schools that are paying the NIL money. The union wouldn’t level the NIL playing field. The NFLPA doesn’t.

There’s just no way that an offensive lineman will command the NIL of a high-profile skill player.

Maybe the ncaa will step in to control NIL in some way, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

There is a current lawsuit against the NCAA and PAC 12 concerning employee status for college athletes. More fun!

Why? It's not their name image, or likeness that is being used.
