Born in 1959, so I came in late in Rupp's coaching regime. So, the answer is 8.

I was alive during Rupp's last years but knew nothing about college basketball yet, so for me Pope makes seven.

Surprisingly, this new guy makes seven for U of L in that time. I would have guessed like 10

7. Best time was 96-98, getting my doctorate at UK and loving those teams. I used to bag Sutton’s groceries at, was it Randall’s groceries? He liked orange Fago. Moved to Lexington at about ten years old and largely became a fan because of an uncle and of course living in and around Lex for 18 years.

I was 20 years old when the Runts lost to Texas Western, it like to have killed me, took days to get over it. I remember the 1958 championship. Adrian Smith was on that team, he was from Farmington, a small school in Graves Co., not far from where I lived. I started playing Jr High ball in 1959. So I remember 8 different Coaches.
