I read all that like Ace Ventura lol.. All in 1 breath…
- Beat LSU
- Lose to Missouri in a game where we try to overcome a double-digit halftime difference
- Enter the NCAA tournament as a 6 or 7 seed
- Beat the 10 or 11 seed
- Lose to the 2 or 3 seed team
- End the season with a 21-14 record
- Minimal coaching staff changes follow with several players transferring
- UK gets some decent transfer players, but hype is diminished due to few to no marquee names and the results of the last two seasons
- An AD and GM are hired to give the optimists a reason to look forward to the next season
- Summer reports of players overperforming increases the hype for the hopeful
- Kentucky loses early-season marquee matchups and realists renew their call for a change
- UK is inconsistent all season, losing too may P4 games to signal a change, but winning a couple they should have lost
- Pope is removed or resigns after the season concludes in early March
- The new AD makes a big hire to replace Pope, and the fanbase becomes united again behind the new coach and vision
I know this thread is focused on our March outcomes, but I can't help from taking a guess at the other dominoes too.
If we get to Florida I'm sure we will be too " fatigued" and get the brakes beaten off of us.
And Florida needs to win their first game to keep a one seed. They will be on their game and we will be "fatigued"
And then we get a tough 10 seed which we will defeat. Then comes a two seed in the round of 32.

That's great. Upsets aren't the norm so I dunno why u are acting like they are.
We are like a 5 point favorite. 5 point favs win 69% of the time.
So yeah LSU could win. But this poll suggests that its more likely we'd lose than win.........which is just silly.
Fair enough … you’re entitled to your opinion. I just know from watching this team and seeing them implode so many times that they’re far from a lock .. which in itself is very embarrassing for any UK basketball team. Oweh’s playing for records now and you’ve got 2-3 more that couldn’t care less at this point. I’d think we would win but I won’t be the least bit surprised if we don’t.
I totally get it.
I mean this team has not been consistent at all and they seem to get down by double digits to nearly everyone with a pulse. So I definitely get it.
I think we are a little bit better than what the pessimism here suggests but I understand.
