Looks like we only have a few commitments in basketball although Fitz has been amazing in football.
If Collins wanted a full roster doesnt he need about 8 commitments?

And doesnt this mean we need a new starting 5 or will Turner and Benson get first crack?

No I didn't.
So we have 6 rostered players and need 8 commitments?
I see Benson left as well. My bad.
Is it a crime to ask a simple question to all you experts?

Right now NU has nine players committed to scholarships for the 2019-20 season. They have 4 unused scholarships.

Based on current players, i guess Greer, Gaines, Kopp, Nance, Young are our starters. Turner off bench with our 3 verbals?

10 at this point and who knows on Malnotti if he is given a scholly
Giving Malnotti a scholarship doesn't equate to him being a scholarship player, if you know what I mean.......he hasn't shown signs of being Reggie Hearn v2.0

The guy has put in the time and I think he deserves one. I mean we have 6 open spots and is Malnaldi much wore than the guy from William and Mary who isn't a difference maker either. At this point, we just gotta flush the damage from the mass exodus and focus on snatching the the #1 recruit Baldwin. If we leave things bare, then maybe if him and some other '1 and done' players' can be named the starters when they sign and lead us to the final 4.

So we are lamenting the mass exodus of three non-starting graduates and need to focus on getting the top player in the country? Something seems odd about this perspective.

If we actually HAD six open slots, this might make some semblence of sense. Since we only have 3, not so much...

A #1 recruit doesn't guarantee a tourney bid much less a final 4 run. See Ben Simmons at LSU.

If we end up going into the year with only one, it makes sense. Great marketing for other potential walk-ons to add depth to the team. We are down to one, right?

What other hope do we have? Nothing against our new transfer from William and Mary but getting transfers from there, Yale, Evansville, and other former div 2 schools hasn't indicated success.
What's wrong with giving Maldinaltti ? a scholarship? Reward our in house program and boost our basketball GPA while we can.

Guess North Carolina is on the decline. They took a grad transfer from W&M last week.
