Good excuse for me to count it up. Making a connecting flight doesn't count.

Alabama Arizona Arkansas California Colorado Florida Georgia Illinois Indiana Kentucky Louisiana Mississippi Maryland new Mexico North Carolina Nevada Oregon Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina Tennessee Texas Utah Idaho Virginia West Virginia Wyoming Montana Ohio Wisconsin

30? I would have bet more, but there's all those tiny ones in the northeast. Once met a man who claimed to have only left the state of Texas three times in his life.

49. Never been to Delaware. Don't really know why. Been in the general area many times through the years just never have had cause to go to it. Been to each Canadian province.

i have zero desire to cross nebraska off my list

Well, I don't know if this could possibly change things for you - maybe you're not the outdoor type and if not that's ok - but the Sandhill Crane migration is one of the great natural wonders of North America. It is in the area of Grand Island to Kearney, Nebraska this can be witnessed each year in the spring.

Haven't been to:

Alaska
Utah
Washington
Oregon
Idaho
Wisconsin
Maine
Vermont
New Hampshire
North Dakota

That's probably the order I'd want to knock them out if I have the chance.

My last one was Hawaii in 2013.

As Jodie Meeks said with 2 minutes left in Knoxville, "That's 50".

It was a huge lifelong goal of mine. Highly encourage everyone to hit all 50. This country has just about every geography, topography(!) and landscape that can possibly be imagined. Sure, North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa are boring and redundant, but ya still got to see 'em.

Greatest country on earth, from sea to shining sea.

IMO.

49 if the Fargo airport runaway doesn't count. If it does, 50. + DC + PR + VI. Checking Yukon off my list in a couple weeks.

Colorado was spectacular. All of it, even the Eastern plains. My favorite state I've visited so far.

I think 35 or 36. Planning on going to Yellowstone sometime soon and hitting WY, ID, WA to knock at least three more off the list. Will also do an Alaskan cruise and get that one. Maine may be the hardest for me as I have no reason to go that far up the NE US except just to be in Maine. We'll see.

50 The last one took awhile to get, then we finally booked a cruise to Alaska a few years ago.

Probably more than a dozen foreign countries.

I'm at 32. Still need to hit most of the flyover states. There are a few that I'm excited about visiting, but I will say when I am planning a vacation it's really hard to put North Dakota as my preferred destination.
