If you've never been out West, put that on your bucket list. Years ago, we flew to Vegas, rented a car and drove up through Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, California and back to Vegas. Didn't spend much time in one place, but we were scouting out where we wanted to come back to. One of the best trips I've ever done.

Yes. Thanks for the reco. Cruising in & renting a van. Going up to Emerald Lake anyway. Been to Skagway once before, but didn't go to Yukon & to Haines instead.

15 states. Thought it would be more than that. We like flying instead of driving, so that eliminates a lot of opportunities.
