How many trick or treaters did you get at your house?

Wife setup 50 bags and we have 3 left. Frankly, surprised because I live around a bunch of COVID is going to kill all of us believers.

Our neighborhood had more houses handing out candy than usual. That was nice. Not too many kids, though.

We had about the same as normal, 50-60 kids, which was a surprise. Told my wife she bought too much candy, but we ran out.

Our neighborhood cancelled Halloween events. Zero this year. I'm a HUGE Halloween fan...for myself and the kids. Working In healthcare and having multiple friends and family (+), I won't minimize the threat. Hoping to go HUGE with Halloween and other holidays next year!

None. The same for the last 28 years.

Seems odd.

I put a big bowl of candy out. I saw one group of 3-4 come by and bless them for their honesty they didn't take the whole bowl for themselves.

84. We gave out full size candy bars. Sat in the driveway with the fire pit going. Used one of those grabber things to drop a candy bar into their bags. About half our normal volume.

Every one of them that dared to knock on my door is now captive in my basement. They’re for sale for $0.25/each

I saw more enthusiasm for Halloween this year than I have in a while, especially from our older neighbors. Many wore masks and sat out tables to social distance but you could tell a bunch of those people have been pretty lonely since this Covid stuff started and it was a kick for them to get to interact with people, especially kids.

At least a 100. My neighborhood is one way in and out and basically no traffic other than residents. People from other areas will come here and drop their kiddos off to collect candy. Lot of young families with kids live in our subdivision. They started around 530 or so, last one was about 830..

Less than 10 kids that we didn't personally know their parents and invite. Our town usually has a huge trick or treat on Main Street so we usually get about 50 after that is over. We (meaning my wife) thought we would have tons so she bought tons of candy and made gift bags. I was shoveling them to the kids that did come. Gotta support juvenile diabetes.

Put out 50 wrapped bags and watched kids each take one bag. All were gone in 90 minutes. Kids had fun

Our neighborhood had 10X as many as last year. I don't know how many we had because we just set it out and took out kids out. It was all gone when we got back of course. I'd guess there were 300-400 kids out and about.

Had about 30..maybe 40 tops. We ran out before we saw the last group making their turn around the street so we had to close up shop. We didn't expect that many this year so we were handing out bigger handfuls of candy early on in the eve.

None, and haven't for the past ten years or so. Stopped giving out candy after a couple of incidents. First, a little bastard about five years old came to my house about ten years ago and I was giving out Nestle's Crunch Bars. Threw a fit when I gave him one and started demanding that I give him some Hershey bars saying he didn't like Nestle's Cruch. I told him to "take it or leave it", right in front of his parents while he was throwing a fit. Not a single word from them. Turned out the light after that and the party was over. Next year I was sitting in my garage giving out candy when teens about 16-17 started driving around the neighborhood and literally demanding candy. That was the end of it for me. On top of those incidents, having kids run up to your house is literally asking for a lawsuit in case one of them falls or trips. Sad, but that's the way things have gotten these days.

We just bought a house on the "most Halloween" street in our town. We probably had 200 or so.
