How many walk ons?

thought I saw up to 20 in this class
how many are we going to carry on the roster 60-80??

are they considering cutting spots in other men's sports or adding women's teams?

I believe those walk on numbers count in the title ix calculations

They do. More to it also. I believe locker room space comes into play as well as training table, etc. Moos talked about this a couple months ago after Coach Frost mentioned his intentions. My take was it was doable without too much fuss but some adjustments would have to be made and more substantial in the future. I kinda think they will add something eventually in the way of another female sport

Thanks .. I believe there was talk recently of looking into cutting some men's numbers in other sports to accommodate the high numbers of walk ons

Kind of surprised we didn't give walk-on offers to Epperson from Skutt or Kautz from Norfolk Catholic.

They had women's LAX club team while I was there, few friends were on it.

Hockey is not going to happen, you need an entire ice rink.

At one time an archery company was interested in Nebraska have an Archery team. They were even willing to help build the complex. The complex would of been large enough to hold the Women’s college archery series

The final list of walkons clearly will be sorted out after February for most programs. Fwiw
