I don't enjoy the taste very much, but probably 7 or 8. #lightweight

I could eat a few boxes of chicken rings though.

I used to be able to down 40-45 in a single setting, (over the course of a ball game or a good movie), but now find myself stopping in the mid to upper 20's. Pretty sure they started using more bread and grease and less meat around the 2013 timeframe, which leads to filling up quite a bit faster.

Had a friend once challenge me to see if I could go 50+ in a single setting, just never felt it was important enough to try and prove anything to anyone.

We don't eat much fast food, but my 10-year-old daughter has been asking about White Castle lately, so we treated her the other night. Couldn't decide on what to order, so we went with the value meal that offers 20 sliders and 4 fries for like $20? There are 4 of us, we had 6 sliders left. Brought them home and gave them to the dog. What horrible **** that "food" is.

There are factors to consider here.

Temperature of the burgers is a huge deal for me. When they get beyond the hot / luke warm stage into the pretty much cold territory, the eatability value falls quickly.

Were the burgers made well? When I look into a box and see the patty half hanging off of the bun and onions / pickles at the bottom.....huge turnoff. It drastically reduces the future number of burgers consumed, no matter where I am in the count at that time.

Given an unlimited number of hot, well-made, non-gross burgers to run this challenge on.....I think I could probably get to like 10 before vomiting on myself.

8 here...Back in the mid 80's we had a white castle eat off where I worked (DuPont). This was done when each shift was working night work. There was 4 shifts and lunch was about an hour per person. Rule was they all had to be eaten during the two hr lunch period. My shift won eating 1050 whites castles. One guy ate 50 AND drank a 2 liter bottle of big red. I called white castle at 7th and Berry to order our 1050 three days in advance. They had extra cooks in on the night we picked em up. There was 4 guys working in our powerhouse that averaged weighing 350 apiece..They were good for 20 apiece, i thought they could eat more..The guy that ate the 50 went about 190...This is a very true story and if you know anybody the worked at Dupont in Louisville back then ask them about the eat off..Byron Crawford heard about it and wanted to come on site and do a story about it but our plant manager would not allow that..

Well, I came here to brag about the 17 I recently downed in a single fat feeding frenzy. I bow at your gluttony sir.

BS. Meals come with 4. Have you even had a White Castle Jason? Smh.
He gets the double burgers. For a guy that is supposedly in shape, he eats a lot of ****.

Usually get 2 doubles, and a fish sandwich. Could probably get a 10 sac and eat them.

I've done half a crave case back in the day. So 15. But from 12-15 is really trying. Safely, I can do 10 to 12.

Never had the nerve to eat more than 4 double cheese. Afraid of what might happen to my innerds by the next morning. That, and I can't eat there more than once every five years or so. I worked there while in HS and got burnt out on them pretty quickly.

In my younger days I could eat 12-15 with no problem. Now, the best I could do is 8.

How many of you have had coronary bypass or a mild stroke?

The only thing definite about eating White Castle....you don't live long.

I've never eaten White Castle and then afterward been glad that I ate it.

If it wasn't for people getting drunk or stoned, White Castle would never have stayed in business.

I've eaten 14 years ago, could have eaten a half dozen more if I had to or large sums of money was on the line.

I was good for a dozen back in the day. Now, maybe 6 or so. Worst night of my life was when i was out drinking with my buddies and we drove about 20 minutes to go to a White Castle in South Jersey. When we arrive, the place was gone. Not closed...gone. We had to settle for Dunkin Donuts.

How long of a sitting are we talking about?

In my youth, probably close to 15-20 range. Used to be able to eat like a pig but have the metabolism to handle it, not so much nowadays. Probably could about 8-10 in a sitting, and then hate myself afterwards.

White Manna in Jersey sells sliders, much better than WC. Have eaten 4 dbls there and probably do a couple of more, their stuff is good.

If you're ever in the area, hit them up. You won't be disappointed.

Doubt if they do it today, but when I took a few summer classes at MTSU that Austin Peay didn't offer, the food court sliders were called Bullets. Pretty much WC sliders that weren't steamed. My max was 17. My roommate at the time was WettCat level...routinely did 40 after a drinking/toking binge.

Back in the day 20 was nothing. I have totally changed my eating habits now and wouldn't eat one if it was given to me. (Haven't lost any weight but I'm healthier now...)

Ate some sliders from some WC wannabe in Vegas late night/early morning hunger crave. Woke up later puking my guts out and spent a good part of that day in my room.

I'd dive in head first on those.
