He looks like someone who received little to no coaching last year and things haven't gotten any better. When will some of you stop acting like coaching isn't the reason why Z has not advanced as he should have. The kid is a typical European player who is being coached by a clueless idiot who has a well-established history of wasting kids' talents.

I see we have another one of Cal's excuse makers. It is never Cal's fault. After the first couple of seasons, it didn't matter who the players were, the outcome was the same. Now that he has moved on to another program, it is obvious that the program doesn't matter either. The common denominator for underperforming players is Cal. The players who did play well for Cal played much better after getting away from him. Z is a very talented 7-footer who would be killing it if he hadn't wasted his first season under Cal.
I do not think it's never Cal's fault, but I do think it's not always Cal's fault. There seem to be very few things you don't jump to blame Cal for. At some point players need to be evaluated on their own merit.
It is always Cal fault and you are one of the few who doesn't seem to be able to get it. I will make it easy for you. Cal sucks and he has no clue how to coach. I find nothing good to say about that lousy person because he isn't worthy of anything good to say.

So Z has absolutely no agency on the basketball court? The fact that a year later he's still a skinny kid who can't play a physical game and gets thrown around like a rag doll is still Cal's fault?
If you go back and look at why a few of us said Z wouldn't have really made this current UK team any better, it has everything to do with his ability to play a physical brand of basketball. What type of games do we struggle with right now? Z would have been no help. Nothing has been said about schemes or how Z is being used or would be used by a coach.
We just put up the single most efficient offensive performance in all of college basketball this year. We don't need another guy who can shoot 3s on this team. We need a hard nosed guy down low who can out muscle his guy, make defensive stops, and grab rebounds. That's not Z.
When you make as much coin as Cal does and you brag about HOF status and you brag about putting a million kids in the NBA, at some point, you have to make sure your players and assistants are putting in the work.

He isn't being coached well AND he is physically weak as cheap toilet paper. Both statements can be true and are true. Same with Ugo, he still sucks with a different coach. Same with Marcus Lee. It's hard to compete when you are that skinny and weak.

Yeah Fanta is cool. I love his enthusiasm for basketball. He is always said good things about Kentucky. I can’t believe Goodman is not a hater now lol. It must have been all Cal hate because he even wore the UK hat after the Florida game lol.

He talked about his relationship with UK not too long ago. He said the animosity came from Cal and he just decided to walk away from it. Cal pisses a lot of people off.
Well for starters he had no team and certainly no shooters. He’s also ******* enough to want to take with him the biggest Kentucky fan favorite remaining. It was a no brainer for Cal. It’s like people keep saying, two things can be true at the same time.
1. Cal is not a top flight coach
2. Big Z is weak as water, clumsy, and did not dedicate himself to improving his body/strength in the offseason.
I loved that kid too and rooted for him. But he’s done himself no favors. Some coaches are amazing motivators. But you know the saying about leading horses to water …..
