How would Gran use the weapons he would have available to him at UK?

Assuming , of course, he is at UK.

Which players would really flourish?

I would think the TE position, especially.

Looking over Cincy's stats the last several yrs a lot are gonna flourish. -They had 2 5'9" 200# RBs that got most of the work and one 6'1" 230# guy that handled the tough yards. They all had about 700 yds a piece.

-They had one WR get close to 1000 yds. And they had 6 WRs who all had well over 400 yds.

It seems like he likes to spread it around and be versatile.

Unless he can train the receivers to do something extraordinary like catch the ball, his weapons will shoot blanks

I know Mumme, Leach, and others used various pass catching drills or methods to help players learn to catch balls more effectively. I know they used the tennis balls fired from a machine. I also know we used that at one point because Badet almost lost an eye from it. Did we stop using it after that incident? Or should we just make the dudes wear a helmet or mask when doin the drill?

Now just what weapons does he have to work with. The ones that misfired with our previous OCs?

I don't think the drops we had this year were due to the fact that receivers did not possess catching skills, rather it was mental focus or confidence issues which may have been exacerbated by internal team dissent.

You get a good tough oc here who demands his players respect, and holds them accountable, who also can stand up to stoops if he needs to you will see how much talent is on this offense.

People think because they sucked this year there is no talent here.. Well for whatever reason they didn't play/execute the offense, some very obviously quit on the staff! That alone should show that this past year wasn't lack of talent but internal problems..

This. There were drops early in the year but there were also spectacular catches then as well. After the Auburn game I don't believe we had single "tough" catch the rest of the year. There were plenty of drops and they seemed to double in frequency. To me it's indisputable that something happened on the team after the Auburn game. Stoops can deny it as much as he wants but its obvious something happened.
