Please discuss any and all HS football games of interest to PSU fans, or fans of HS FB, that take place the weekend of 9/19 in this thread.
Pennridge (5-0) defeats North Penn (3-2) for the first time since 2012. The final was 34-10.

Tom, EasternPaFootball.com is a great site for all things HS football.@Relayer -- you follow this stuff more than I do (I think). This is the first weekend where I've even checked on HS scores. What surprised me is how few competitive games there appear to have been tonight. I'm looking at all of PA, and there aren't a lot of games that I noticed where it would have been fun as a fan of the sport (not of either school) to have taken in the game (something I've done many times over the years -- just pick a game that I expected to be a good contest, and go to it).
The ones that seemed interesting/competitive were:
Upper St. Clair - 17, McKeesport - 14
Pine Grove - 28, Shenandoah Valley - 26
Williamsport - 29, Selinsgrove - 23
North Allegheny - 20, Norwin - 17
Northern Lehigh - 37, Palmerton -25
Whitehall - 56, Northampton - 49
Seneca Valley - 31, Moon - 23
Mars - 29, Montour - 21
Hamburg - 21, Kutztown - 20
Indiana - 41, Derry - 34
Hickory - 26, Erie - 23
Haverford - 10, Strath Haven - 6
Garnet Valley - 19, Marple Newtown - 14
Gateway - 33, Franklin Regional - 28
Pittston - 36, Dallas - 35
Huntingdon - 28, Clearfield - 27
CB East - 7, Pennsbury - 0
Bishop Shanahan - 35, Unionville - 34
Aliquippa - 21, Penn Hills - 16
Malvern Prep - 17, Salesianum (DE) - 14
Haverford School - 28, Bonner/Prendie - 24
Schuylkill Haven - 48, Minersville - 38
And while the above may seem like a big list, it's for the entire Commonwealth, and for every game I listed, I had to scroll past quite a few blowouts. I should add that it doesn't appear that every game in PA was posted on the list I saw, so I may be missing several competitive games that I just don't know the scores for at this time.

Also, I thought the old PaPreps board on rivals was moving to On3. I met many good people on that board who attended games with me. We're bummed not having a forum anymore. And it just happens that SJP has started 0-3. Reality is 99.5% of teams in PA would be winless with that schedule.

District One is wide open this year. Pennride’s schedule is backloaded a bit this year. North Penn certainly is a formidable foe, but they have now lost two weeks in a row, with the loss to Neshaminy last week. Pennridge finishes the season with CB East, CB West, CB South, and Quakertown.that has propelled Pennridge into 1st place in the District One 6A rankings. Pennridge and Coatesvile are the only D1 6A teams that are undefeated this season.

I think York High beat Northeastern(York) like 93-0 last week. My alma mater Dallastown, who’s not looking good this year, was up 36-0 against Northeastern in the first quarter last night.@Relayer -- you follow this stuff more than I do (I think).
