Would hate to lose him, especially this late, but I'm sure Michigan will be throwing some serious cash his way so who knows.
Am I missing something? I may have missed a thread about Dreshaun considering leaving. He has a pretty good situation here with excellent, if not the best, training partners. I’m sure we have him pretty locked down.

Corby just mentioned that Michigan is really going after Dreshaun hard for football. Didn’t say anything about whether he was considering it or not.

Well their coach is about to be fired so that’ll make it a lot easier
I watched about 5 Rocklin and Ignacio Villasenor matches at Super 32's and they are both in the quarterfinals. Rocklin was quick and dominant in his matches. Ignacio is not as quick and dominant, but he has won. In the round of 16 he won 9 to 7 with his opponent getting 2 takedown and Ignacio got 0. He got 6 points on wrist tilts which won the match. Villasenor rolls around and takes risks and gives up some takedown he shouldn't and comes close to putting himself on his back at times also. Borge is in the quarters also. I watched a Jamison Forrest match where he lost by a major decision and didn't look very good.

Agree. Rock is a beast. Wrestles angry and has that Spratley motor. Nas clearly has potential as he took Knox to the limits but is inconsistent and isn’t quite as explosive. Super talented though. Micheal White is interesting. Almost loses to an average Joe, then techs the 11 seed. Incredibly raw but as he learns technique, he is going to be someone to watch. Very high ceiling.

Zinkin and Nos are into the semis. White lost in the quarters after getting Winn-Dixie'd. I'd like to see those two go again to see how White is able to adjust. As @HopkinsPoke noted, he's still pretty raw. He just beat a Fargo AA in his first consi match to advance past the blood round.

Nas wrestled really well but has a knee bandaged up and has a pretty bad limp when walking. Zinkin is a maniac. He goes balls to the wall and it's super entertaining, but gets himself into some precarious positions at times. I love the intensity though and that he was wearing a Spratley singlet

I am a little nervous about retaining Ross as he is such a high recruit for football. There will be a lot of money thrown at him and professional opportunities are pretty high for him.

-Zinkin TF’d the #5 ranked 120 in the finals.
-Ignacio lost to the #1 126, Antonio Mills, 2-2 UTB.
-Dhabolt lost 16-6 to Melvin Miller. Miller dominated the bracket, as expected.
-Tank Heeg won 157 as a sophomore.
-Lincoln Robidau was the 15 seed. He went 3-2 losing to #2 ranked Clinton Sheppard and #9 seed (currently unranked by Flo but formerly highly ranked) Thomas Verrett of Ed North.
-Mario Carini a 175lber out of CA finished 3rd. Last I knew, he was on the recruiting radar.

Sounds like the cat is out of the bag with Jax. Pyles hinted about a 133 in a few months on FRL today. I posted about it a few weeks ago but it was deleted
Are you saying he;s wrestling for Osu in januray?

I don't understand the rush to get Jax to college. Especially in a year you have zero chance to win a team title.
Same thing we all said last year.

The rush? DT wants to win. Best man up, period.

My bigger issue is that if they pass the 5 year-eligibility rule, its not retroactive. Jax would get 4 years to compete at NCAA, not 5.

I think that arguement is a lot different when deciding whether to redshirt a guy already on campus. This is getting a kid out of high school early. I think the more you can push Jax's timeline to line up with Ross, Raneys, etc. the better. OSU has zero shot to win it this year. They should have a shot towards the end of Jax's career. I trust DT but you are trading a year of Jax scoring points from a potential title year to a non-title year.

He didn't care last year.

Because look - if you add Hamiti, Plott and Wyatt this year? You're a clear 2nd. So the problem isn't about being a "potential" title year. DT believed last year and he believes this year that they can win the title. PSU isn't going to stop being loaded. So it just doesn't matter what we view in terms of being second fiddle. DT isn't accepting that. And... kudos to him.
