Angelo and Bo are friends, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard for Old man Ferrari to find out. I’d think Angelo is one of the guys on the roster compensated the best but I have no inside knowledge.

Just so we're on the same page here, you're admitting that Iowa has to overpay in order to get kids with other options to wrestle at Iowa, correct? Without acknowledging that, it's not possible to have an honest conversation about any of this.
Athletic administrators as well as football and basketball coaches have benefited tremendously from the money fixation.
I would say PSU, OkieSt, Ohio St, VaTech, Cornell and wherever Koll has been (UNC presently) have all done much better with elite middle weight talent.

Here is the bright side of Iowa getting Bo. They won't be able to help him win a title, but he is good enough to AA without any help from the twins or Morningstar and spending 5 mill on Bo will keep Bob out of other programs with his cash bags.
I’ll say it again. There’s nothing wrong with Iowa ponying up the cash and I wish we had the funds/desire to fight that battle.

Meh...I've already noticed that they don't do much with the top 10 (or close) recruits they already get. I can thank Iowa fans for that. Had they not clued me in on the Brands brothers coaching guys like Kem, Marinelli, Warner, Cassioppi to multiple titles, I may not have even noticed they aren't so great at developing. Hell, they all promised Spencer would be a 4 timer. Guess they didn't see the Brands boys beating him into the ground. There's hope on that front tho, I told them for years he needed to manage their loads so they can be fresh and healthy when it matters most. It looks like he may be doing that now. Lol. The best thing now tho is someone is paying kids for Brands to develop them. I might have to come out of "retirement" and go back to the Iowa board to troll them because of what they get for a return on the investment.

Jax is officially about as much of a “must get” as one can be. If he ends up at PSU, Iowa, or wherever and I think the “2-3 years to start making PSU sweat” becomes more like 4-5 years.
