So when is basset getting slotted in at #2

Jax legitimately liked his visit to Iowa. This is what Willie said on it over on the Iowa board m:
“i think iowa has a great shot. they're certainly in the final short list/final 3. and that's not something i thought was the case in november. so they're trending in the right direction. per Jax's father, they were surprised at how well they clicked w/ Tom on their visit.”

Pins and needles for Jax aside, what other recruits is OSU in on or is there any other news? Didn’t know about the Raney twins or anyone else we should keep our eyes peeled for

Bo is ranked #1 in the class #4 P4P on Flo
Jax is ranked #2 in the class #2 P4P on Flo
I don’t know how the guy who is higher P4P isn’t higher in the class rankings but I’m no expert.

Tomorrow will be a big day for us. With Jax we are looking at a wrestler who has a good chance of being a National Champion and possibly being a multi time National Champ. At one time Individual National Champs were common for us but we have not had an individual Champ since 2021. Jax has the potential to be a difference maker and be a significant wrestler to get us to 35. Tomorrow is a big day for the Cowboys and with David Taylor's future success. As others have mentioned Bo Bassett's total impact on Iowa is greater than the points he can score in duals, conference and at Nationals. Jax Forrest is that same level of wrestler that other great wrestlers would want to wrestle with. We can be successful and win 35 without him but he would make it more likely that 35 occurs in the next 4 years.

Probably timing. At some point, they swapped Bo and Jax in the rankings.

I am, that is the start of the rankings slide with Bo. We call it the chokeye effect. TnT are going to train him into a heavy handed, edge Wrestling counter machine that tends to get upset in the semis or before.

The thing is, Bo is good enough to withstand the coaching he'll get and only get upset in the finals.

Regardless of how his career turns out, I won't feel bad for Bo. If he gets a good money manager, then when he exits college, he will have about $7M in the bank. Not bad for a 23 year old.
