I love it when we get upper weight top recruits. They generally pan out to projections.
I watched his bronze medal match at 17U Worlds and his who's Number 1 match against Waters. He dominated his opponent ay Worlds and wrestled Waters close. Tanner is a year younger and has been improving a lot lately. He is a very good recruit for us especially being a 197. He wrestled 190 against Waters. I really wanted us to get Waters who impressed me so getting the year younger Tanner is fantastic.

That’s what it sounds like. Smart move.
Well…not 100% a smart move maybe.

Trot him out at 33 in March and it takes us from 4-5 straight to 2-3.

IMO, there’s lots of Wrestling left and it’s a smart move to see if Figs gets right or we run with RonRam (my vote.)

I think Ronnie gives us enough to trophy if the rest do a good job. If Figs can get right (he’s a 25 IMO) he does the same.

Him coming to Stillwater to train FT in the room and getting a taste of collegiate action without starting his eligibility clock seems like a very smart move.

Things could change sure, but all signs point to what seems very good for all parties.

If he doesn't take a class he can't practice with the team. He can only attend RTC practices which can only be freestyle

Correct. I’m know you are familiar with how grey shirts work… He will train with his future coaches and future teammates regularly.

Well I thought the finals of a big tournament would be a little competitive but I was wrong 😂
