Iron man coming up starting Dec. 12. We have 4 recruits wresting there this weekend. Ignacio Villasenor is rated 5th at 126 and there are 3 wrestlers at 126 rated ahead of him. Great chance for him to rise in the ratings with numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this weight class. At 132 we have Jayden Raney rated 1st, and there are 4 wrestlers in the top 17 in this tournament. This includes number 4 Fred Bachmann. We also have Jordyn Raney ranked 1st at 144. There are 10 ranked in the top 20 wrestlers in this weight class including number 3 Tyler Dekraker and number 3 Clinton Shepherd. Lastly, we have Michael White ranked 9th at 190 with great competition with 5 wrestlers ranked ahead of him including number 1 Adam Waters and number 3 Mastny. It would be nice to see our wrestlers shine at Iron Man.
Jordyn won by 14 second pin in the 2nd round with a cradle. Jayden won by tech fall in his 1st match. Villasenor won by pin in the 3rd period. All 3 of our signees were of course dominant.

190 was loaded. Mikey had to go through Aaron Stewart & Mastny to get to the finals, and Betz had to go through Ricketts & Waters. Bigtime performance for Mikey.
The Raneys are studs. No two ways about it. Jordyn’s finals match with Dekraker was a folkstyle masterpiece. JR got the escape and takedown early in the 2nd and then rode a VERY active Dekraker out for the entire rest of the match. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a guy on bottom stay active that long. He was truly trying to get out every second and Raney looked like Lane Frost trying to cover Red Rock for 8 at times.
You get a like for the Lane Frost and Red Rock reference. It's NFR week so perfect timing.

We now have 5 2026 recruits rated 1st at their weight by Flo both Raney's, Jax, Michael White and Ross. We have another recruit ranked 2nd, Zinkin. We deserve some breaks with top recruit considering our 2023 class ranked 1st may end up unproductive for us ( Carroll, Thompson and Hughes). It is possible that all of these Cowboys will need to transfer if they are to start at a Program.
I could see Hughes and Thompson moving on this offseason. I don't see them starting at Oklahoma st
Don’t worry Harley the 25 and 26 classes should more than make up for the 23 class.
