Not everyone can be Andy BernardHe's opening up his recruitment. He has trial Jan 7 for the fight. Cornell class of 2030 is notified on acceptance in December and he wasn't accepted is what I'm hearing
Gimme Rocklin or Nacho as the 125 post-Spratley. Neither guy (as far as I know) has caught an assault charge.No. We’ll have Zinkin, Villasenor, and maybe Ramirez all battling for the 125 spot. Plus he just doesn’t seem like the kind of guy DT would recruit. Isn’t he the one that assaulted somebody at the state championships.

Hodgins won by tech in the 1st round, lots of takedowns. His opponent did not have any defense against Hodgins takedowns. Yes, Forrest tried a wrist roll and lost his grip and ended on his own back and had to bridge and turn to get out after giving up 5 points.Tanner Hodgins and Jamison Forrest are competing at Beast of the East today. Jamison won his first match 12-5. He was dominating the kid and was working for a turn and nearly pinned himself. At this stage it's good that he gets himself into all kinds of positions and tries to figure it out. He's going to be good
Jamison Forrest won by pin in the 3rd period. Without the pin he would have won by tech. He can be sloppy but show a little like Jax in his wrestling. He did a slide by, low single and go arounds. But he has a long way to go. What would be great for Cowboy wrestling is to see a jump in levels for Jamison this year and he is a freshmanHodgins won by tech in the 1st round, lots of takedowns. Hodgins won by pin in the 2nd period. He got 4 takedowns in the 1st period. Tanner was on top and got 3 back points and the got a cradle for the pin. Well maybe he would need to jump 2 levels because he just got pinned in the 1st period by the 6th seed. He got pinned by a cradle.Jamison Forrest won by pin in the 3rd period. Been a hot minute since I’ve heard/seen Hobart OK.Jett Kline… the pride of Hobart OK
Good info, thanks! It's interesting that Hamiti wrestled at 190 instead of 175 like he did at Ironman. At KC Stampede:

Hodgins won 7 to 0 in the quarters with 2 takedowns and an escape. Not real impressive but solid win. Hodgins lost by giving up a last second takedown. He really looked sloppy, slow and tired at the end. He really blew that match giving up 2 take downs in the 3rd period. He gave up an escape with 25 seconds left in the match and if he would have stayed behind Tsarni he could have rode him but he goes off to the side and gives his leg up and could have given up a reversal but only gives up an escape. A lot of big mistakes in this 3rd period. I hope that he learns from this and finishes the year strong.Would be a major with all the riding time if they counted it![]()

Hodgins won 9 to 3 and took 3rd.Hodgins 4-1 over Zuercher. Looked shook up after a clash of heads early in the third. 1-minute first periods on the backside. He'll face Nevin Mattessich for 3rd.

The stalling was annoying but shooting from distance wasn’t helping Jamison at all.Jamison loses a tight one 4-3 to Brock Rothermel who is ranked 12th in the nation at 120. Rothermel stalled the entire third period and was lucky to only give one point for it.
Curiously, Rothermel chose not to ride Jamison both times. After he got a takedown in the first I assumed it was because he thought he could run up the score but then he did it again to stay the third period. Might have been because Jamison is a reversal threat.
In the end it's a loss, but a respectable one to a stronger, more experienced opponent.
