I wondered the same as did the announcer, but I'm not sure if there is neutral danger in high schoolCorbin spent most of the 1st period on his back, don't know how there were no danger calls.
Little surprised they didn’t hit Wurster for stallingRocklin beats Wurster 2-1 in OT rideouts. Hard fought match. Rocklin was the aggressor for 7 minutes but just couldn't finish. He'll face Burnett in the finals
They hit him early so it was a bit surprising they didn't hit him again. Maybe they didn't want to give a match-deciding point or maybe they were giving him credit for reattacksLittle surprised they didn’t hit Wurster for stalling
Rocklin won in overtime on a Rideout. Had some good shots but didn't finish. Tough opponent, up a weight and a win but not impressive. They hit him early so it was a bit surprising they didn't hit him again. Maybe they didn't want to give a match-deciding point or maybe they were giving him credit for reattacks
In overtime Rocklin got rode out and therefore needed to ride Burnett for 30 seconds and he did. Then in the deciding session Rocklin got bottom and escaped with a sit out and turn strong in, to get the escape.Rocklin gets it done!! 2-1 UTB! He was aggressive as usual and Burnett was backing up a ton but never got called for stalling. Great W
He's a dawg! I believe he'll be back down at 120 for the Doc B and will likely face SidunI am getting just as excited about Rocklin as I am most of the other guys. He seems to have jumped a level this year.

Such a stud and he just keeps getting tougherI’m betting that one and he beats Landon! This kid is a good one
If he wrestles smart he will win. Landon is really defensively responsible and with Rocklin’s wide open style it can open up for counters as it did for Landon in the who’s number one match.I’m betting that one and he beats Landon! This kid is a good one!
I was wrong about Sidun being there, my bad. He was there last year so I just assumed, but his school isn't on this year's team list. He's a dawg! I believe he'll be back down at 120 for the Doc B and will likely face Sidun
At Doc Buchanan Ignacio wrestling 129 won by pin with a cradle and won by tech in round of 32. Of course, mostly scoring back points on wrist rolls very dominant. Rocklin in the round of 32 he won by tech at 123, again lots of back points.I was wrong about Sidun being there, my bad. I think Sammy Sanchez will be in the 120 bracket though and he's #1 on the 2028 big board and ahead of Rocklin on Flo's p4p list.
Villasenor should be there at 126 where he might face Rocklin's teammate Paul Ruiz who's a stud and #8 on the 2028 big board.
Luke Hamiti could have a super deep bracket at 175, including #1 Jeter, #2 Singer, and multiple other top 20 guys.
Round of 16 Villasenor won by tech with 4 takedowns and escape, and 4 back points with a wrist roll to end the match. I watched the quarterfinal matches and Ignasio's win was solid with 3 takedowns. Two of those were double legs but he had an opponent who was a fighter. Rocklin's match was lots of scrambles with Rocklin scored his takedowns off his opponent's shots several where he dove for a leg after his opponent was on his legs. Near the end of the 2nd period he took over and just ripped his opponent to his back for the last 6 points.Villasenor won by 10 to 3 decision, to reach the semi's, and Rocklin won by tech to reach semi's. Zinkin won by major by 14 points, with a lot of takedowns and a few back points. Dominant. Villasenor won by decision, and he had a real nice throw by go behind. Both are in the finals.Luke Hamiti falls in the bloodround to the #10 175 in the country Brody Kelly
Zinkin wins by pin over Sontz rated 8th with a 3rd period cement mixer when he was behind 4 to 2. He lost a 1st period takedown on hard scramble. Rocklin put lots of pressure on his opponent and just before the pin he drove his opponent off the mat and Sontz took a questionable injury time out. When they started again within a few seconds Sontz was on his back and got pinned. I was concerned but quite a finish by Rocklin.Zinkin won by major by 14 points, with a lot of takedowns and a few back points. Dominant. I remember we really tried to recruit Jayden James 165 but Penn. St got him. He really looked outstanding in the finals with a tech. The other kid was very aggressive, and it got him nothing but a beating.Zinkin won by major by 14 points, with a lot of takedowns and a few back points. Dominant. James is damn good, really wanted him.I remember we really tried to recruit Jayden James 165 but Penn. St got him. He really looked outstanding in the finals with a tech. The other kid was very aggressive, and it got him nothing but a beating.
Ignasio won by riding out Bachmann the 2nd rated 132 but only a sophomore. It was 5 to 5 after 6 minutes, 6 to 6 after the 2nd overtime. Bachmann scored the 1st takedown and so had choice and chose down. Ignacio showed some toughness with his hanging on top for the win.James is damn good, really wanted him.
Super tough ride. That was his fourth time on top. The other three times, Bachmann got away fairly easily including in tiebreakers.Ignasio won by riding out Bachmann the 2nd rated 132 but only a sophomore. Cannon is also in the mix > Watters and Zerban. Watters up a weight makes his length less advantageous. If he wrestles smart he will win. Landon is really defensively responsible and with Rocklin’s wide open style it can open up for counters as it did for Landon in the who’s number one match.
This low scoring affair could be a good piece of anecdotal data to benchmark how each fairly equal high quality recruit develops in their respective rooms.Rocklin gets it done!! 2-1 UTB! He was aggressive as usual and Burnett was backing up a ton but never got called for stalling. Great W

Women worship wrestler's like rock stars.
As expected Tanner won by pin in the 1st period with a takedown, back points and then his opponent was put on his back again for a pin. That's his family lol
