The issue teams are gonna have with the portal this year is in the past you could say we will give you 200k. Now that athlete has to take that offer to NIL GO to see if it's valid. Rev share teams can still say we will give you 200k and they actually can and that offer is immediately vaild

To me Cody looks like a 184lber, but with how he likes to eat, I don't see that happening. If he ever did decide to cut to 184, the proper way, I don't think anyone would beat him at that weight.

Incorrect. Vega is a TALL 141. He doesnt pull much at all to make 41.
He looked 2 weights smaller than Larkin. How in the world did that guy make 149 a couple months ago?
I have no idea what any of our guys weigh or how much weight that they pull. I was in attendance at the big 12 tournament and it looked like our guys were smaller, and in some cases, much smaller than their opponent. 133 Jax vs Larkin. 141 Vega vs Echemendia. 157 Robideau vs Larkin. Facundo and Ryder have looked smaller than their opponents all year. 165. Facundo vs Sneed. etc.
I believe Landon Robb could have made 49 and probably could have been champ this year @149 but because of the guys we had in the line up already 157 was a solid weight for him. He is not a big 157 but he is not that small either. All the other guys we mentioned are actually on the smaller side.
Jetter is a solid recruit but not dynamic. I heard an interview of him mocking Oklahoma states education program. He said why would he turn down a Cornell education for a Stillwater education. “He said those guys won’t make money”!
Freshman heavy teams tend to look smaller. Give them another year or two and they will look bigger.
Larkin is a huge 133.
Jax is a pretty big 133, but his body has acclimated pretty well.
both Ech and vega are big 141s
Robideau is a good size 157, he wouldn’t make 149 though.
facundo is a good size 174. 165 would be a big pull for him.
ryder is definitely a small 184. Should honestly be at 174.
thanks for the feedback.. it sure appears that Ryder's lack of length really hurts him at 184 and I think (hope) he would be in the discussion for all American at 174. not sure how we manage that over the next year or two. would be great if we could fill the 184 spot next year and let Ryder sit out until after Facundo graduates at 174.
I’m no expert but neither Robideau or Facundo look remotely big for their weights. Especially Facundo. He pretty regularly looks smaller than his opponents

I dont think Dee makes 174 and not struggle on top/bottom. LR feels good at 157. Facundo feels apt for 174. Next year, can Jax stay at 133? If he doesnt, can he move to 141 and Vega to 149? Does Vega has the same advantage at 149 (His length) that he does at 141?
Jax is not small.
Ech is thick, but short. Vega is long and isn’t in a huge cut, but argue with the results.
Lando could make 49, but he’s dense and it might be counterproductive.
Facundo is a 65.
Ryder is a 74.
In addition, Dee is a 57.

Man I don't think Facundo can go to 184. I think he would be Top-3 at 165 actually. He's not even strong enough for 174 yet. He gets in on so many great shots and just can't finish them because he's not big or strong enough for that weight yet. I believe he was at 157 in 2024.
Shoulder or not, love the guy, but he's not good enough for Operation 35. You have to be no-doubt Top-5 and challenging for NC.
Not gassing just the way he wrestles looks like it. Could he do that flying squirrel at 6:55 if gassed?

Chase you are right Dee is a 57 and that's another point I was talking about that you made for me.
Well I respectfully disagree and I think this would be a 50/50 if we took a vote but not worth arguing over. I think he should also be at 157. And I think he should get his rear back to the center of the mat faster but these are just opinions. Not trying to bash him, just think he has tons of potential within himself.
