Why does Hub Arkush continue to be the analyst of the championship games the last several years? He's condescending, arrogant and doesn't know the HS rules or the players. He needs to realize these kids are 15,16,17 and 18 year old's in high school and not in the NFL.
He does a good job covering the NFL but shouldn't be on the championship telecast!
Anyone else agree???

I don’t mind him he could brush up on the rules a little bit but with some of the other garabage announcers doing high school games he is more then tolerable.

"I wonder why no one has returned a kickoff out of the end zone today?" Instant classic from Hub. Rules Matter...

I also loved him backtracking moments after his critique of the LZ kicker...my guess is the producer whispered in his ear to remind him he's not calling a Bears or UM game...

Hub Arkush is an unwelcome "Johnny Come Lately" for the championship broadcasts. This is an insult to many serious HS football followers.

Often hard to hear. does not have a big enough voice for stadium broadcast.

Excellent point.
To add, I believe Hub does a great job behind a studio mic without all the ambient (and sometimes loud) noises of a live sporting event. He has more of a conversational delivery which is well suited for interviews.
