HUDL?

Was Friday night's HUDL problems at LA a one-time thing, or is Hudl as bad as NFHS? I don't recall ever using this service and have no experience, there. Is there a fee? Did some unusual equipment problem develop that evening ? Any chance LA might switch to Youtube? Their service had been excellent in the past.

All of Hudl was struggling. Not just an LA problem. The LA announcers did mention problems with local cameras, but that could very well be because they couldn’t connect with Hudl servers during the outage.

I don’t think chatter on this board is going to result in LA switching up to YouTube mid-season

Probably a good chance the MC game ends up on local TV, no?

Except for this past week the Morris games on HUDL have always been fine and unlike NFHS, it's free.

The Offszn coverage of the Morris/Kaneland game was nice, but I didn't like the field level camera. You have no clue how many yards a play went for. The guys doing it did a good job considering it's their first year and they're still figuring everything out.

Depends on the school. Some charge 8 to 10 dollars per game to watch on Hudl.

Watching a Marist/BR game on The Cube many years ago I'll never forget the volunteer Cube announcer saying "He's running like he just stole something from Ford City!"

Correct, but schools can make money back charging to view the events (and of course Hudl gets a slice of the charge).
