Nice to see the school actually spending money to encourage organized support from the students at games.

I'm not sure I would have chosen that name, since the school wouldn't permit any real hooliganism and it seems forced to describe a bunch of private school twenty somethings as hooligans anyway. But hey I'm not complaining if it helps the teams.

But it also means it is time for the local non-students to organize their own firm. 11th St. Army or whatever you want to call it. Get on it.

"11th Street Army" is awesome. Got some grit to it....sounds like a group of people that probably listens to The Shame.

Or they could use our old intramural team name "7th Street Bullies", which is what I originally wanted to call The Shame. The Fightin' Caskeys was my other choice for band name.

I should mention that Danchez is one of the key members of the Tulsa Ultras, the supporters group for the Tulsa Athletics. They were pretty damn organized this summer over at Old Drillers.
