I think Hurts can be compared to Baker and Kyler. All three are winners!
Hurts passing stats at Alabama were probably better than Kylers at Texas A&M when each committed to OU.. Hurts running the football is comparable to Baker. Hurts may not be as quick as Kyler but Hurts running the football is as lethal as Kyler.
Lincoln Riley helped making Baker and Kyler great and he will do the same for Hurts.
Look what Hurts did against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game last season eliminating Georgia from the Final Four. Alabama was behind by a TD when Hurts entered the game.
If I remember correctly Hurts passing vs. Georgia was also excellent and his running was excellent including the exceptional winning TD.
Hurts rallied Bama being behind 7 points to being ahead with a great TD pass and a TD run.
Hurts like Baker and Kyler is a true winner!

Mayfield and Murray are the two best college QB's I've ever watched. I don't say this as an Oklahoma fan, but as a college football fan.
Yet the sad part for me was that there were no championships during their time in college due solely from playing on teams devoid of defense. The lack of defense by OU in recent years has been nothing short of an embarrassment to the OU football legacy.
To say Hurts doesn't measure up to Mayfield and Murray is not to diminish his aptitude at all.
