Use those connections! Get a sweet gig working in the athletic department when your playing career is over.

It is always sort of sad/shocking to see people as they age especially when you don't see them very often.

I see my Dad a few times a year and in the last 15 years it is like he went from the guy that I was always afraid of (in a good way, relax all your gentle parents) and a guy that would do anything for me and his other kids...to this "old man" that really just naps and takes pills for different issues.

It is sad.

..i'm watching my dad age and knowing the end isn't that far away can be sad, yer right...I live a mile away from him and we're tight. We were in business together for about 25-30?? years and he was the man...now I can't ask him to watch the cat when we go on vacay due to his age. Haha ...but we've had the best life together. but it is sad. Yer right

Maybe sad is not even the right word. But I suppose it does work.

It is just weird and it sucks.

there is no battle

soft bama kid was a total bust and isn't even with the team anymore
This looks like coach-speak for what you are talking about:

Transfer tackle Elijah Pritchett “has got to continue to figure things out,” Rhule said. “He’s got all the talent, he just has to figure out what’s expected from him all the time. So I know he’s working on that and guys are pouring into him.”

Guessing Bama's coaches may have said similar things. The portal makes it easy for kids to run from problems versus addressing them

As far as the Conn kid goes, there are plenty of 1AA guys that can play in the Power and go on to NFL careers. He maybe won’t be the latter, but he will be the former. Good to see Frank at a practice.
Yes. Another example of why it's probably better to look for high achievers at the lower level than players from the top programs looking for a second chance.

I know we have some who love controversy on this the free board and the insider board and love to stir things up but why don't you just let things play out without name calling. Elijah Pritchett is obviously having some issues and I'm sure the staff and players are trying to help him do the right thing but all some on these sites are doing is stirring up animosity towards a young man with some problems. Please leave him alone and let the professionals do their jobs.

That is unreal by my calculations if Nebraska continues at that pace it would of taken us 30 years to match what Ekeler did in two years at Tennessee.

I said unreal... I meant embarrassingly mind blowing
Frost didn’t bother to hire a special teams coach. Rhule did, but it was one of his worst hires and then he trusted him to do just a terrible job.

Our special teams will be more special this year. If they are also clutch, that can win some close games.
