What another nightmare week for the Rhule haters. They are pretty damn quiet now that we're playing football again, aren't they? They are pretty damn quiet after the Italian Stallion delivered a performance DY-lan Raiola only dreams about in his sleep. Another week, another L for WRONG.

Speaking of WRONG, let's check in on his gaping Frost (Pitt 12 UCF 7 for your weekly update there on that mega Loser) hole.

"Utah by a billion." It's a lock, right? I'll be nice and take 40 points.

Put up the funds.

Looks like Arkansas -- which lost 10 straight games to end last season by the way -- covered my offer. That chickenshit Kearney Catholic product WRONG didn't even have the balls to negotiate down, which I would have entertained. Instead he Frosted out and went with "the opening line" which ended up being 7.5 points. Sounds very close to a billion to me.

Great call WRONG. Way to go out on a limb and call for a billion point win in week 2 against a team that lost 10 straight games last year. Michael Jordan is a good basketball player too, right?

Have some conviction in your takes. Fred and Sam Hoiberg want you to stop being so damn soft.

Heading to the gym to hoist 4 plates right now.

Top 25 poll this week..."others receiving votes".

Huskers are so back!

Nevermind, they didn't get any votes.
I got Nebraska mixed up with Tulsa.

34th!!!!

Impressive stuff.
Yahoo sports says Nebraska has the 18th highest budget for football.

ROI is a bit lacking.🤣
What did your granddaughter say when you broke the news to her that you spend all the livelong day, every single day, engaging in nonsense that she and her friends surely outgrew by the time they were 12?

Any pics of her horrified, "my God, how do I get this freaking loser out of my life?" face?

I can see how you would share a kinship with him, with him also being an obsessed, demented internet stalker in serious need of mental health therapy.

It's pretty easy and entertaining dealing with posters possessing low intelligence characteristics.
Several reside here and most are easily triggered.

Nebraska is a Red State, correct?
Explains a lot.

rhule haters gonna go into full melt down if we beat mich state
It is easy to make-up stuff. I had the Huskers going 5-0 and the last I looked Michigan State is one of the first 5 games. I still believe Indiana will be a very tough out on October 10. Oregon is in Eugene so I haven't changed my mind on that game even though the Ducks have started out a surprising 1-1. Washington is playing just ok so the Huskers should have a good chance in that game. It is also at home. Illinois is 1-1, lost a close game to a good Duke team. I think Illinois will be 5-3 when they meet the Huskers. Rhule's team have not been great on the road and his teams have never won a BIG conference road game against a team with a winning record.. Rutgers is terrible and even though that game is in New Jersey that should be an easy win. Ohio State will be a big favorite and Bo was the last coach to get a win against Iowa. The Iowa game is on the road as well. I wrote a comment on September 1 (6-6) and September 3 (7-5) that I think the Huskers will end up 7-5 or 6-6 and I still stand by that. Nothing at this point is ever going to convince me that Matt the Hat is a good coach so yes, I am a Rhule Hater!

you should consider the horrific 3 win dumpster fire the rhule had to start with.
and our 47th rank in this extreme vital area.

It is year 4. good coaches win. I guess in 2032 when Matt comes hat in hand, sporting a 61-61 record, you can agree with the decision to give him another contract for 5-10 years because the man just needs more time. I believe Rhule is just a bad coach period. Seven out of ten seasons as a head college coach his teams have lost six or more games and his teams NEVER beat a ranked P4 team (2016 since he won against a ranked G5 school). He only gets wins against the bottom half of the conference. Those little nuggets of truth says it all to me. I will never understand how anyone can support him. On the other hand I question the commitment to Nebraska football. If the powers to be truly cared would Nebraska rank 47th in NIL spending?

Does anyone know where Husker volleyball ranks in financial support?

I see 7 to 8 wins this year, then the 9 win min will be re-established in 27...the team will be majority seniors..
at that juncture 5 years, I will review if rhule is to be kept...

I think with the 9 wins min re-established like during the dr, tom years...rhule will bring in more and more horses...and money, and it becomes a snow ball effect...

I know it's been painful, no pain no gain...but this newfound upward trajectory has a healing effect compared to the down hill trajectory we have seen since dr. tom left.

I am not sure where you get " this newfound upward trajectory"? Does this come from #41 Nebraska crushing #109 Ohio and #131 Bowling Green? (Per CBS Sports Rankings updated 9-14-2026) Beating them is surely a lot better than losing to these two schools and I think the Huskers played better. AC is playing better at Qb than DR. Rule is a stud. The defense has played well, but again lets see how they do once the conference play begins.

With Matt the Hat I do not think you have history on your side. I like facts and stats as opposed to wishful thinking. Show me where a head college football coach with just over 10 seasons with a overall record of 68-62 (53%) and a P4 coaching record of 40-39 (51%) has evolved into a coach who consistently wins 9 games a season?

You omitted Bo never winning less than 9 games per season.

I see 5-7 wins. I am predicting 6, which is plateauing. To get anything more would require Rhule beating a good team, perhaps a ranked team. Could it happen because AC > DR, Rule, new OC/DC? I suppose. But I will not believe until I see it.

wasker, oxford..I agree it's not easy to see for someone with a untrained eye.
but I see the foundations that rhule has laid starting the iron hanging phase..
within this and next year you will more easily see the rebuild taking shape.
the dumpster fire was disposed of the the first year. and foundations poured in year 2 and 3.

I would encourage anyone still fuming over the dumpster fire to redirect that energy into a positive help
might I suggest a nil donation and a closer look at the construction itself..

The caveat is Rhule’s success is dependent on not only his ability to hire quality assistants but to retain them. There has been turnover every year with Rhule which is a far cry from the continuity of the TO era you allude to. Some of this is Rhule’s fault, some of it’s just the nature of CFB today.

I will say the OL looks overall improved and the plays they are able to execute are far more advanced than years past. Will see how this season goes. I am liking what I am seeing on the whole so far.

Is your name Damon Benning? How much is Matt the Hat paying you? Someone is giving you some awfully good Kool-Aid. "I agree it's not easy to see for someone with a untrained eye" What a pompous and utterly stupid statement. Facts are facts and you have nothing but blind allegiance to a very mediocre coach.

The coaches formerly employed by Rhule are not coaches that we want back, for the most part. Ekeler is a clear exception, and special teams are back to being a weakness. Tony White was not someone we wanted to move on from, but it was understood he was here short term. Pot roast? But we did keep Satterfield.

no I am not mr benning and I would not accept a penny for rebuilding NU football.
mr. rhule took over a temple with a 4–7 and a ryan day as oc, and left temple at 10-3
then he took over a baylor that was on a ncaa death bed, and left at (CLEAN) 11-3..
these are the joe friday facts...

good day sir.
